# Location access

Allow the verification page to use your location in Safari and Chrome.

Some brands set their verification page to
[require a location](/docs/team-and-settings/verification-page). The page then
holds the result until the phone shares where it is. If you tapped **Don't
Allow** on the browser's prompt, the page shows **Location access is needed**
and waits. The browser does not ask a second time on its own. Allow it in the
browser's site settings, then reload the page.

## Safari on iPhone

1. Tap the page settings icon at the left of the address bar. It shows **AA**
or a sliders symbol, depending on your iOS version.
2. Tap **Website Settings**.
3. Set **Location** to **Allow**.
4. Reload the page.

## Chrome on iPhone and Android

1. Tap the icon at the left of the address bar. On Android it is a sliders
symbol, on iPhone it is the page icon.
2. Tap **Permissions**.
3. Set **Location** to **Allow**.
4. Reload the page.

## If the prompt never appeared

If your phone has location services switched off for the whole device, the
browser cannot ask. On iPhone open **Settings → Privacy & Security → Location
Services**, on Android **Settings → Location**, and switch it on.
